The news involving band reunions this week is completely out of hand. Here is some more crazy news to Add to the list:Van Halen with David Lee Roth! DLR is back, and taking Michael Anthony's place is young Wolfgang Van Halen. That is crazy. Will it explode into a giant ball of hate like in previous reunion attempts.
The Police are rehearsing, and getting ready to play after a 20+ year breakup. I'm looking forward to this, because I love the Police, but I hate 90 percent of Sting's solo work.

and finally Smashing Pumpkins! The Pumpkins will be playing some big european festivals, but the band roster has yet to be announced. As far as we know, Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin are definitely in. James Iha may or may not be in, but he has recorded the soundtrack for a Japanese film called "Linda Linda Linda" about an all girl band who "need to learn to play a song before the school festival". official film site here
