If you are familiar with WILCO, you know that the leak of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot led to one of the most famous and most bizarre label dropping and signings in music history. The leak helped their career a great deal. If you don't know the story, go rent a copy of "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart."
