Don't Park Near the Empire State Building

If you take your car into Manhattan, don't park near the Empire State Building.
Several cars per day are just refusing to start once parked in the area. It is possible that the culprit may be the radio towers at the top of the building. After 9-11, many of the radio and TV stations broadcasting their signals from the Twin Towers, moved to the Empire State Building. "Automotive experts and engineers believe the problem stems from radio frequency interference that’s “jamming” the remote keyless entry systems of cars."
Once the cars are towed a few blocks away, they start up again.
